We mow with propane-powered lawn mowers because we feel it is important to do what we can to ensure the quality of the air we breathe and to encourage our economy's recovery.
According to the Environmental Protection Agency, gasoline lawn mowers emit the same amount of air pollutants over the course of an hour as a new car being driven for 340 miles. The US Department of Energy says that using propane reduces carbon monoxide emissions 50 to 90% and hydrocarbon emissions 30 to 62%.
We also believe that it is important to support American workers and utilize domestic energy resources. The National Propane Gas Association says approximately 90% of the United States propane supply is produced domestically.
